Step 1 : Prep Your Nails
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Trim and file your nails to the desired length. Keep a little length — it makes trimming excess wrap much easier later. You can even trim and file with the wraps on after a few days of wear to refresh your manicure.
- Skip buffing the nail surface. It’s unnecessary and can make the adhesive stick too strongly, causing damage when removing the wrap.
- Gently push back your cuticles. Never apply the wrap over the cuticles, as it may cause peeling.
- Wipe your nails with an alcohol pad to remove any oils or residue. This helps the wrap adhere properly and last longer.
Step 2: Apply
1. Clean your nails
Wipe your nails clean with a cotton pad.
2. Choose the size
Pick a strip that fits your nail width.
3. Apply the strip
Peel off the backing and press it onto your nail from the base.
4. Trim excess
Cut off any extra parts.
5. File the edges
Smooth the edges with the mini file.
6. Enjoy!
Admire your perfect nails.
Step 3: Remove
When you're ready to change your look, gently peel off the wraps starting from the cuticle area. Work from your smallest finger toward your thumb.
If needed, apply a small amount of nail polish remover to the edges with a cotton pad or Q-tip to help loosen the adhesive. After removal, wash your hands thoroughly and moisturize with hand lotion and cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy and nourished.
